The Buddhist, the Mormon and Me

In blistering 113 degree heat I had a great vacation with two amazing friends. Amazing humans really. Apart from the cooking and cleaning and watching our 7 children, it was a spiritual retreat. We talked and laughed and challenged each other and I came away stronger and more in touch with my very existence.

But spiritual growth was NOT the intent of the trip. Summer vacay was the intent. Floating in the lazy river was the intent. Buying copious amounts of donuts and letting the kids play and spending time away from our normal lives. That was the intent.

Here at RichDreams, we talk about how having fun and doing things you love help you detach and shift. I must tell you getting away from your everyday life is powerful. I recommend it highly.

But this is huge. Are you ready? Choosing to spend time with people that you connect with spiritually is like nothing else in the world. An unparalleled experience. Soul nourishing and intensely life affirming. Transcending and divine. Really got me fired up.

When you connect in a spiritual way you elevate one another. Upping the energetic ante with each encounter.

And the conversations just elevated as the days went on between the Buddhist, the Mormon and me. Around the dinner table or at the pool or just driving in the car. While scrapbooking and amidst the indoor baseball game and in the morning hours before the kids were up. No dogma, no judgement, no apologies. Just love and support and fun.

Love and support and fun. – It’s all you need for a truly spiritual experience.

We all get markers to help us remember who we are. Evidence of our exceptional greatness. This trip was one of them. When I see the kind of people I have attracted into my life I am in awe. They brought the best out of me.

Watch out I think something big is on the horizon!!

Who are you choosing to give your time to? Is it feeding your soul? If not, write this down.

All my friends are for my highest good.
All others fade away.
My friendships are a spiritual experience.
My friends elevate me.
I spend time with people that bring out the best in me.
I have a community of support and love.
My soul is nourished.

All my love to you! Look inside and see how incredible you are!!
